Steve started his Financial Planning career in 1986. After serving a 10 year apprenticeship with National Mutual and Westpac, he launched his mortgage brokering career by opening an Aussie Home Loans office in Townsville in 1996. It became very apparent that Financial Planning and Mortgage Brokering fitted like a hand in a glove.

In 1997 he built a national Financial Services business including the disciplines of Financial Planning, Mortgage Brokering and Investment Property Advice. Steve’s flagship business – Australian Investment Services purchased Encompass Financial Services in 2005 and continues to operate as the Encompass group of companies with the Head Office being situated on the Sunshine Coast.

Steve contributes back to the Financial Industry as a key note speaker, providing Self Managed Super, Property Development and Asset Protection workshops to his peers and their clients. With clients located all over Australia, Steve travels extensively providing up to date and relevant strategies to meet his clients ever changing needs.
